Tall Castle Development is the professional collaboration of Mark Maciel and Donald Bonnette under the Tall Castle brand.   Together with several talented professionals who are experts in their disciplines, they have formed a comprehensive team specializing in all aspects of land development. Developers, architects, and home builders seek out our projects and expertise to fuel their need for developable commercial and residential properties.  Tall Castle Homes and Tall Castle Engineering also fall under the Tall Castle Companies brand.

Meet the Core Management Team

Mark A. Maciel

Partner

Mark is entrepreneurial real estate developer experienced in project financial modeling, property improvement, civil engineering and entitlements.  As a former military officer and paratrooper Mark is one of the most tenacious developers in Central Florida.  After being mentored by one of Orlando’s most successful developers, he developed numerous successful commercial and residential projects.  He currently sits on the Winter Garden Planning and Zoning Board and is often called upon by other real estate professionals to assess their projects.  Mark is regularly quoted in Orlando area business journals.

Donald J. Bonnette

Partner

Mr. Bonnette has an extensive background in overseas manufacturing and importing.  As a third generation home builder/developer, he has recently focused his efforts on real estate development and commercial rehabilitation projects.  Don’s knowledge of capital markets has propelled Tall Castle beyond its original goals.  His ability to raise capital allows our firm and its strategic partners to take on larger, more diverse projects.  By possessing a clear understanding of diverse business models, he is able to leverage his extensive knowledge base and apply it to the rapidly changing field of land development.


Ryan Blaida PE, LEED AP

Civil Engineer

Mr. Blaida is a professional engineer with over a decade of experience in site development engineering, construction administration and project management. Through his project experience, he has designed and permitted projects of all scopes and sizes – from one acre out-parcels to several hundred acre multi-use planned developments.  Ryan came to us after working with one of Orlando’s busiest engineering firms, specializing in residential and commercial subdivision engineering.

Craig Rager

Senior Contractor

Craig is our licensed construction professional.  Licensed since 1987, He is truly proficient in all aspects of construction.  His knowledge of design, project management, new construction, commercial projects and finish improvements is unsurpassed.  His experience includes but is not limited to managing construction plants, turnkey construction, CAD design, and critical structural components. He has contracted numerous high profile construction projects in the State of Florida.  There are very few General Contractors that possess both the management, engineering and construction knowledge necessary for complex projects. One conversation with Craig and you will know that you are in good hands.


Stephanie M. Glover

Acquisitions Coordinator

With over 15 years of real estate experience under her belt, Stephanie is a multi-million dollar producer and has been involved in hundreds of real estate transactions in both the residential and commercial arenas.  She is extremely resourceful and is well versed in new construction and land development.  Leveraging her vast knowledge of real estate with her organizational and communication skills, she is a vital component of the land development team.  Stephanie is known in our office as the “Detective”!  There is no bit of property information that she cannot find and no government process that she cannot navigate.

Amanda Butler

Office Manager

Spending over the last ten years working as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager for Mr. Bonnette, Amanda is a highly efficient Office Manager able to utilize her unique skill set to accomplish even the most complex tasks.  Her unsurpassed knowledge of accounting, license management and supply chain coordination make her role crucial to the team.  With Amanda on our team nothing falls through the cracks!


Ryan D. Langley

Director of Real Estate

A Central Florida native, Mr. Langley is knowledgeable of the land, politics and market forces that drive the Central Florida real estate market. He holds a Finance Degree from the University of Central Florida, and has utilized his knowledge and education in commercial real estate for two decades.

Mr. Langley specializes in land brokerage, helping both sides work toward a successful transaction. Ryan investigates creative alternatives to any financial or developmental hurdles encountered throughout the process and has a tremendous rate of success.
